She’s the most photogenic female on the planet. Few things, one would think, could photobomb a Chrissy Teigen picture. That’s what I thought until I saw her Instagram picture of a gigantic, colorful cake covered in sprinkles and then I spotted Chrissy. She was standing behind the cake but the cake looked so fabulous, it caught my eye before Ms Teigen herself. That just proves how amazing her cooking skills are! Not always, but sometimes, I’ve found that some of the dishes she’s snapped in her Instagram pictures are so dazzling, you forget Teigen is even in the photo. Then again, how can a cake topped with a fried chicken leg not overshadow all other things? Anyway, here are 15 of those Instagram pictures to which I am referring – AKA – 15 times Chrissy Teigen got photobombed by fabulous food.
The Fried-Chicken-Topped Cake
Yes, that is a cake and yes, that is fried chicken sat on top of it. At a first glance, it looks like an enormous, dreamy cake that anyone could see themselves tucking into. Then you realize it is no ordinary cake at all. This cake, according to Teigen, contains ‘’mashed potatoes, gravy, fried chicken, cornbread and mac and cheese!’’ No wonder she was photobombed by this crazy cake. I’ve never heard anything like it. And when you look at the image again, you can spot the mashed potato. It’s not your usual cake sponge. But you can’t deny it, this cake had you fooled. You would never imagine a cake containing mashed potatoes and gravy could look so divine. Once again, Chrissy Teigen proves that anything is possible.
Turkey Legs in the Air
Are they turkey legs hanging from the ceiling? Or are they chicken legs? Hang on a minute…is that Chrissy Teigen eyeing up the meat counter? Yes, it is. It’s Chrissy Teigen for sure. She’s shopping at a butcher’s in Barcelona and enjoying every moment of it by the sounds of her Instagram picture heading. ‘’Oh baby,’’ she says. That must mean she’s kind of flabbergasted by what she’s seeing. And is that an ice lolly she’s holding? Yes, I believe it is. So maybe the ice lolly didn’t photobomb Chrissy Teigen but nobody can miss the turkey legs hanging from the ceiling – they definitely photobombed her. Not that it bothers her, though. She looks like she’s in a world of her own. Everything related to food intrigues Ms Teigen – even the food shopping part.
There’s No Such Thing as Too Much Pizza
Pizza pizza pizza! It’s the first thing you notice. Oh yeah, and then there’s Chrissy Teigen – and her husband John Legend – sat behind them. They’re in Naples. But back to the pizzas. I bet Naples do fabulous pizza. If this isn’t #relationshipgoals, I don’t know what is. Eating delicious pizza together…what can get better than that? It’s not easy to identify what each pizza topping is but one thing anyone can tell is that those of some fine pizzas. They really do stand out to you before the A-listers themselves because, well, pizza is pizza and pizza is good. Is that a glass of wine I see too? Sat in front of John? Oh man…it just gets better. Pizza and wine – AKA – the perfect combo.
A Cake For Luna
This was the cake I was talking about earlier. The gigantic, colorful cake that caught my attention before Teigen herself. That’s probably because, as you can see for yourself, it’s one beautiful cake. And I’m not criticizing Teigen here at all. I’m just pointing out how great her cooking skills are. That cake looks divine, doesn’t it? Birthday cakes really are getting more and more mesmerizing and to be able to bake something as awesome as this has really got to inflate your ego big time. Decorating cakes sounds like so much fun – seriously, there is no such thing as too many sprinkles. You really cannot have enough sprinkles on your cake. They look so pretty….and, while she was definitely photobombed by this cool cake, Chrissy Teigen is looking particularly beautiful too.
Deviled Eggs
Those deviled eggs….wow! It’s hard not to draw your eyes away from them, they look so good. And then you see the woman behind those dreamy deviled eggs: Chrissy Teigen. Watching her cook has got to be one of the most comforting and enjoyable things ever. She cooks with such passion and there’s always fun and playfulness involved when Chrissy Teigen is in the kitchen. Cooking can, at times, be stressful but it can also be fun and creative. Teigen always looks like she’s enjoying every moment of her culinary experience when you see her cooking and she looks very much at ease in this picture too. But let’s go back to those eggs…#foodgoals or what? Note to self: must get copy of Chrissy’s cookbook.
Is That a Doughnut Tower?

Yes, it appears it is in fact a doughnut tower or some may just call it a cake. Anyway, that doughnut tower looks pretty awesome, doesn’t it? And if you look closer, you will see that it’s Chrissy Teigen standing behind the cake. It was for her friend’s birthday. Well I must say, her friend has good taste choosing a doughnut cake instead of an ordinary cake. Doughnut towers are so cool and if you’re a huge doughnut fan, like me, they’re extra cool. How many donuts must have been used to make this tower, I wonder…I’m guessing around 100. One hundred donuts. It’s no surprise it was so hard to spot Chrissy Teigen behind this cake. This doughnut tower kind of blows your mind, doesn’t it?
That Banana Bread Looks So Goooood…
Banana bread is always good. But the banana bread that (OMG is that Chrissy Teigen!?) is holding looks especially divine. You can bet a slice of that would go perfect with a cup of coffee. It looks so soft, so doughy, so tasty! Baking is one of the best forms of cooking, in my opinion, because there’s not too much rush or hassle involved. You’re not having to juggle several pots and pans at once which is something I loathe. Unless you’re a natural born multitasker, baking is a lot more convenient and a whole lot less stressful. It can still be tricky though. You need to know what you are doing otherwise you are going to end up in a mess. Chrissy Teigen seems to be a natural baker by the looks of it.

Photobombed by her very own wedding cake! It’s hardly shocking. I mean, just look at that fabulous wedding cake she’s cutting into. Is that #weddinggoals or what!? I’m pretty sure many people are thinking the same thing right now: ‘’I want that cake!’’ Or at least, ‘’I want a slice of that cake!’’ Wedding cakes, on the whole, always look divine. All that icing and decor…oh man. I’m really craving cake right now. All this talk about cake is making me crave it big time. Why is Chrissy Teigen always being photographed around cake? She is one lucky girl! I’m sure Chrissy and John Legend’s wedding was a foodie’s paradise, if the wedding buffet food looked half as good as the wedding cake that is.
Which Pie?
Those pies look delish, don’t they? Yet again, Chrissy Teigen is the woman behind the greatness. She’s one hell of a cook if you haven’t already figured that out by now. Sweet potato streusel pies are what they’re called and I bet you’d agree with me when I say I’d love to dig my fork in right now. Obviously anyone can see Chrissy Teigen behind the pies in this picture but she’s not the main focus…not with those pies sat in front of her anyway. Pies are kind of like pizzas. They’re comfort food – the kind you crave. I love it how Teigen has a real down to earth approach to cooking and isn’t afraid to cook something a little naughty at times. Who cares about calories? Good food is more important.
Just Look at All That Food
Is someone hungry? Someone sure must be hungry. Just take a look at all that food. And oh wait, that someone just happens to be Chrissy Teigen. A hungry Chrissy Teigen by the looks of it. It’s hard to notice Teigen when there’s so much great-looking food on display. Teigen seems to agree that it’s great food anyway – have you seen the look on her face? She looks pretty happy and pretty engrossed in her food. Who doesn’t love a woman who loves her food? And if it’s one thing Teigen is passionate about in a big way, it’s food. She’s crazy about it. That makes two of us because I’m kind of crazy about it too. Then again, who isn’t crazy about good food?
Cinnamon Rolls….Bring Them On!
Mmm, cinnamon rolls. Oh man…how I adore cinnamon rolls. While you can’t see the finished product in the picture, the process of how they’re made is pretty fascinating. It’s no wonder Chrissy Teigen was photobombed by that huge rolled out piece of dough. Even just the thought of cinnamon rolls is enough to send your taste buds to infinity. That’s probably why Teigen wasn’t the first thing you spotted in this picture because when cinnamon rolls are in the equation (even if it is just the dough), it’s hard to outshine them. Sorry Chrissy. Who else is having hallucinations about devouring those soon-to-be cinnamon rolls? Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Don’t worry, I think everybody is fantasizing about them right now. Unless you would prefer an apple, that is?
Now That is What You Call a Salad
Thought salads were made of nothing but tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber? Is that why you’ve been avoiding salads like the plague for the past….actually, forever? A salad, as you can see by looking at this picture, does not have to be bland and boring. You wouldn’t believe the kind of salads that exist these days. The one in the picture above, for instance, looks amazing. And as you can see, there’s far more in that salad than tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber. There’s eggs, fruits and all sorts of other yummy things in Chrissy Teigen’s salad. This huge salad looks so good, in fact, I was completely oblivious to Chrissy Teigen holding the bowl. You know it’s a success when that happens. You know it’s got to be an awesome salad if you failed to notice Ms Teigen in a pic.
Golden Eggs
Neon yellow. It’s the first thing that hits you when you see this post of Chrissy Teigen’s. Not Chrissy Teigen, but the neon yellow in the frying pan. They’re actually scrambled eggs but wow – I’ve never seen such yellow eggs. Once your eyes grow accustomed to the potent shade, you notice a couple of other things about this picture: A. That Chrissy Teigen is the one making the eggs and B. She’s actually making a Mother’s Day brunch. Not just scrambled eggs, but ‘’chicken and waffles and roasted bacon’’ as well. It sounds like it’s going to be a Mother’s Day brunch to remember, that’s for sure. Everybody needs Chrissy Teigen in their kitchen; this woman is a total domestic goddess. There’s only one thing more staggering than Teigen herself and that’s her food.
A Valentine’s Day Meal
Maybe this is cheating because Teigen is covering her face with these quails but who cares? They still photobombed her – that’s what matters. She’s cooking for Valentine’s Day. ‘’Quail with bacon brussels sprouts,’’ she says in her Instagram post. That John Legend is one lucky guy. It can’t be a bad life can it? Going home to Chrissy Teigen’s awesome cooking every night. Despite the fact that she’s been photobombed so often by food – most of the time by her own food – one thing you can’t miss in every picture of Teigen snapped with food is her passion for cooking. The passion is evident in every single picture. And, in a way, it’s kind of contagious. It makes you want to start whipping up gourmet dishes, doesn’t it?
Eating Soup With Chopsticks
It appears to be pho. And that woman eating the pho appears to be Chrissy Teigen. Since pho is probably the number one most mouth watering dish in existence, it’s no surprise that Chrissy looks like she’s just about ready to devour the Vietnamese soup. I also couldn’t help but notice that she seems to have mastered the use of chopsticks. How does she do it? Just when you thought you knew just how awesome and multitalented Chrissy Teigen already is, you go and discover something more! I can’t even eat noodles using chopsticks. They’re a complete mystery to me. I’d choose a knife and fork over chopsticks any day I tell you. Anyway, that pho looks great and that smile on Chrissy Teigen’s beautiful face tells me she agrees.
